I still want to study to be a pediatric assistant. I know that I will achieve it.”

My name is Elisa V. Morales. One of the reasons I decided to study and take advantage of the help that the Career Advancement Charter (CAC) program gave me is that I always wanted to study and become a pediatric assistant. That has been my dream since I was a child.

Years ago, Nando Estrada arrived from Guatemala seeking a better life for himself and his family. He gives much credit to the Cabrillo Dental Hygiene program for what he has achieved for his family. After graduating from the program, he attained financial stability.

Medical Assisting student Dahlia has faced significant and painful obstacles, yet has faith in her ability to realize her dream of becoming a doctor. As far back as she can remember, Dahlia has aspired to work with those in need and to give back to her community.
